LUING BULLS ON FIRE

Four Society approved pedigree Luing bulls were forward at the working genes sale on behalf of the McGowan family and their Dirnanean herd. The four bulls forward were all out of superb cows that had excellent scores for their society dam classification. All four sold to an astronomical trade. Topping the whole three breed sale was Dirnanean Dawson, a Craigdarroch Alves son at £17,250 selling to The McArthur’s of the noted Nunnerie herd. Two were sold for £12,750, firstly Dirnanean Dante to Hamish Black and secondly Dirnanean Delaney to David Howlett on behalf of Chatsworth Estate. Last but not least was Dirnanean Darcy selling to Jo Marsden on behalf of Cadzow Brothers, Isle of Luing for £11,250. The last three bulls were all by Dirnanean Zion giving his sons an average of £12,250 Four Luing bulls averaged £13,500.
